STPI's this center was established in the year 2004 with an objective to encourage, promote and boost of software exports from Tier-III & III cities in the Kharagpur region. It has privilege to be situated in the city known better for its world class Institute such as IIT. It is spread over 3 acres of campus & is surrounded with Industries. Centre has adequate facility to cater the need of IT/ITES companies in and around Kharagpur. STPI provides services such as STP/EHTP statutory services, Incubation services, Datacom services, NOC operations and PMC services. Kharagpur being an Industrial as well as educational hub has great potential to become IT hub in the state of West Bengal.
